Mothers who bake for the autistic community

“We can’t give up because the best supporter for our kids is actually us,” said Tan Yen Peng, one of the four co-founders of Crunchy Teeth, a social enterprise established to provide training and employment opportunities for autistic adults who are learning to become more independent.

Despite having limited to no business background, the four mothers of autistic children — Yen Peng, Nancy, Mildred and Cindy – persevered and started Singapore’s first exclusive bakery for autistic adults, motivated by the love they have for their children and the hope they have for their futures.
